SketchDailyChallenge

Managed to catch up and reach my longest streak so far. I've earned myself a scanner. Also, I hit my first sketch that I actually want to finish in detail. It's a panorama of Tokyo city. These are the WIPs so far 25% 40% 60%

I was a way for a week, so I'm catching up on old Sketch Daily drawings. Submitting 2 drawings a day now.

20. That's how many days I managed to draw in a row. Then I ended up playing Borderlands 2 till 1:30 and I just forgot to draw before falling into bed... Took a break for a few days. Today I start again. If I get up to 30, I'll buy myself a scanner. Till that time, phone camera pictures.

Sketch Daily Challenge is an account I set up as part of my commitment to do one sketch every day. I use the Reddit forum Sketch Daily ( http://www.reddit.com/r/SketchDaily/ ) for inspiration. My theory is that if I do this for one year straight, I should be able to draw decently. Decently, as in, it is clear I have practice, and I can be proud of my work. I don't expect to become a professional in one year. Just to become reasonably content with my skills. If any other Deviants are doing this challenge, hit me up. Supporting each other can only help, right? :)
